Why Queenievaro

A repair shop, not a replacement counter

We opened on Darren Street because Castle Rock had plenty of places to buy shoes and almost nowhere to fix them. The bench work here is traditional — welted construction, stitched soles, hand-mixed dyes — but the equipment and adhesives are current, which is what modern cemented footwear needs.

  • Written estimates before any work begins
  • We tell you when a repair is not worth doing
  • Leather, Vibram and composite soles kept in stock
  • Walk-ins welcome, no appointment required

What customers say

★★★★★

Brought in a pair of Red Wings I'd written off. New Vibram sole, rebuilt heel counter, and they fit better than when I bought them. Ten day turnaround, exactly as quoted.

Marcus D. — Castle Rock

★★★★★

My wedding shoes got wrecked in the rain. They cleaned, re-dyed and re-heeled them and I honestly cannot see where the damage was.

Jennifer A. — Highlands Ranch

★★★★★

Western boots that had been sitting in my closet for six years are back in rotation. Fair price and no upselling whatsoever.

Tom R. — Parker

Common questions

How much does shoe repair cost?

Simple work like heel tips and shines starts in the low double digits. Half soles, full resoles and boot rebuilds are priced by material and labour, and we always give a written estimate before starting. If a repair is not worth the cost, we will tell you.

How long will my repair take?

Heel tips and shines are often same-day. Resoles typically run 5 to 9 business days, boot rebuilds 7 to 14, and full restorations 2 to 4 weeks. Rush work is sometimes possible; call and ask.

Do you repair shoes that were not made to be repaired?

Often, yes. Cemented and glued construction can still be resoled with the right adhesives and preparation. We will inspect the shoe and be honest about what will hold.

Can you match the original colour?

In most cases. We blend dyes and finishes by hand and test on a hidden area first. Very unusual finishes and patents are harder, and we will say so up front.
